We are your first contact for help with your technology questions. ITS provides project management, systems consulting, software implementation and maintenance, software systems management services, database management and data management and reporting. We also manage, design, and plan the network, the telecommunications system, the central servers, information security architecture and services.

You don鈥檛 have to be on campus to use eduroam鈥檚 configuration assistant tool to install and enable the service before arriving at Macalester or traveling to other campuses from around the world. 日韩精品ors who do not have a Macalester account or are not from eduroam-participating institutions may use to connect to wireless.
We strongly recommend students bring their own laptop to campus and follow our base-line laptop recommendations. Apple and Dell offer discounts for education purchases. Macalester鈥檚 Emergency Aid Program can provide assistance to students as well.
You can reset it yourself with our self-service password reset tool. Just go to 1600grand.macalester.edu and click Forgot Password.
All students, faculty and staff are required to use 2-factor authentication for 1600grand and Google accounts. It鈥檚 easier than you think for someone to steal your password, 2-factor authentication can help keep cybercriminals out, even if they have your password. Securely log into an account with 2 things: 1) something you know (your password) and 2) something you have (your phone).

MacPass is your campus ID card. Use the GET Mobile app to upload your ID photo聽and add Mac Money to your account. Use your MacPass for building access, student meal plans, Mac Money, DeWitt Wallace Library card, and more.
