Hall Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Turck Hall is located on Grand Ave. between Dupre and Wallace\/Bigelow\/Bowman Hall. Turck Hall was constructed in 1957; in 2004 an addition was added and entire hall was updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resident Information:&nbsp;<\/strong> Turck houses only first-year students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bathrooms: <\/strong>Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/u\/1\/d\/1kKt6ygfRG-pGi3JXu9ZgGI5Q87HsyIF0RJS1PaEt8V4\/preview\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1QtfuANrpD9vKQKnrmEeyhyw7CmbG49o5YQTf94wOxhE\/preview\">Bathroom Inventory<\/a> for more information. <br><strong>Laundry Facilities:<\/strong> The laundry room is located on the lower level of Turck.<br><strong>Kitchen\/Lounge:<\/strong> Lounges on each floor have cable TV and a kitchenette with a stove, sink, and microwave.<br><strong>Formal Loung<\/strong>e: The Sounds of Blackness Lounge opened in\u00a0 2015. Located on first floor, the bright, and spacious room has a large meeting table and space to gather, relax and enjoy the large screen cable TV.\u00a0 Sounds of Blackness is a Grammy-Award-winning vocal and instrumental group that began on Macalester&#8217;s campus during the &#8217;70s. Sounds of Blackness practiced and rehearsed in the lounge space, which is now beautifully dedicated to them.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/news\/2015\/04\/sounds-of-blackness-lounge-naming-ceremony\/#\/0\"> Photos from the naming ceremony<\/a>.<br><strong>General Room Information:<\/strong>\u00a0 Double rooms on all floors.
