Weyerhaeuser family. The building\u2019s unique layout was designed by Dewey Thorbeck, a local architect who is a professor at the University of Minnesota and director for their Center for Rural Design. Here is a video&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/244743175\">interview of Thorbeck<\/a>&nbsp;from the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Architecture Historians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chapel serves as a worship space and hosts lectures, art and music events and other community functions. The chapel houses the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life (CRSL) in the lower level and a program space to support vibrant religious and spiritual life offerings. The chaplain\u2019s offices, a prayer room, the library, and the CRSL offices are also located in the lower level. The chapel is served by Protestant, Jewish, Muslim and Catholic chaplains. All are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chapel is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM-9:30 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM-8:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Spaces for Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayer Room<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Center for Religious and Spiritual Life lower level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Musallah is available for worship 8:30 AM-9:30 PM, Monday-Thursday and 8:30 AM-8:00 PM, Friday.
