Vehicles parked overnight without an overnight parking permit may be ticketed, or towed.<br>Winter Parking Restrictions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Long-Term Parking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your planning to be out of town for the Holidays, your vehicle must be parked in the designated long-term parking areas. Please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdYjRq0dhgnrWrZIHpJKbv8IAWoQG5EAOHmz5nGu0Hw-Q8-ow\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">Long Term Parking Registration<\/a> prior to leaving your vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Snow Emergency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Campus Snow Emergency Rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When a snow emergency is declared, all vehicles must be moved from the lot to a designated area. Vehicles that are not moved will be towed, issued a non-compliance fee charged to their student account, and parking privileges revoked. Owners will be notified of the snow emergency via email or a group text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:parking@macalster.edu\">parking@macalster.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a Snow Emergency<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Special parking rules go into effect when a snow emergency is declared to allow all streets in Saint Paul to be plowed to the curb. All residents and visitors must move their vehicles off of city streets according to the snow emergency parking rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicles that are not parked according to the snow emergency rules will be ticketed and towed up to 96 hours after a snow emergency went into effect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Always follow all posted signs. Do not park vehicles where signs say \u201cNo Parking.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When is a Snow Emergency Declared<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Saint Paul Public Works declares a snow emergency no later than 3 p.m. to allow time for residents and visitors to move their vehicles.
