According to FBI statistics, bicycle thefts are on the rise, with over 1.5 million bicycles being stolen every year. Bicycle theft is one of the biggest issues on college campuses; over half of the property crimes reported to the University of California involve the theft of a bicycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Document Your Bike<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studies show that nearly 48% of stolen bikes are recovered by police, but only 5% are returned to their owners. To increase the chances your bike will be returned to you if it is lost or stolen, it is essential that you document and register your bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
