Professor Folina specializes in the philosophy of mathematics. She also works on the philosophy of science and on the epistemological foundations of science. Her broader philosophical interests include Kant, Wittgenstein, realism-antirealism debates, the concepts of objectivity and normativity, and other topics in 20th-century analytical philosophy. She is the author of听Poincar茅 and the Philosophy of Mathematics.听Her current research interests include the philosophy of mathematics of the 19th and 20th centuries, and the concept of proof in mathematics.
