Jeremy Meckler is a 2010 graduate of ÈÕº«¾«Æ·’s Media and Cultural Studies department. Since graduating, he has worked within the Walker Art Center’s Film and Video Department, for the Jerome Foundation’s Film, Video, and Digital Production Grant Program, and occasionally as a freelance videographer. He was a co-founder of the Film Journal Joyless Creatures where he wrote reviews and longer feature articles and conducted interviews with filmmakers.

His writing has been published on the Walker Art Center’s website, in print and online in connection with the video work of Ira Sachs, in the journals ²¹²Ô»åÌý, and in the book The Big Lebowski: An Illustrated Annotated History of the Greatest Cult Movie of All Time. He is the co-author of , a micro-analysis of Carol Reed’s The Third Man, published by Colpa Press, 2013 and a contributor to , published by the University of Chicago Press in 2016. He is a PhD Candidate in the University of Minnesota’s PhD Program.
