Abstracts will be sent for review and participants will be informed by 5 March whether an abstract has been accepted. Inclusion of an abstract in the Colloquium Handbook is dependent on receipt of the Registration Fee by May 1st.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Abstracts of no more than <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">300 words in length<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> should be submitted via by January 15, 2019 using the following format:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Language: English or French<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Font: Times New Roman 12pt<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Spacing: single spacing<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alignment: all text should be left aligned<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Title of paper: Uppercase<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Title and name of author\/s (no more than 2 co-authors may be listed): in bold; title, first name followed by surname in capitals; followed by the institutional address in plain text; and email address in italics<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Abstracts must include information about the following aspects of the research: <\/span>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">introduction (clearly stating the problem\/objective of the paper), <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">theoretical insights <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">methodology<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">findings\/results<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">discussion\/conclusion<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They will not exceed 300 words<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n&nbsp;\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT DATES &amp; DEADLINES<br><\/strong><em>Based on US Central Standard Day\/Time<\/em>&gt; <b>15 October 2018:<\/b> First call for paper and poster abstracts<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <b>1<\/b> <b>December 2018:<\/b> Second call for paper and poster abstracts<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <b>15 January 2019:<\/b> Abstracts submission deadline<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <b>5 March 2019:<\/b> Notification of abstract acceptance<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <strong>14<\/strong><b>&nbsp;March 2019: <\/b>Conference registration opens<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <b>14 April &nbsp;2019:<\/b> Regular registration closes<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <b>15 April 2019:<\/b> Late registration opens<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <b>1 May 2019: <\/b>Late registration closes. &nbsp;On-campus housing registration closes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Questions?<\/strong> Contact&nbsp;Us at <a>2019igu-csrs@macalester.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ABSTRACTS Authors are invited to submit abstracts under the themes given above but are not limited to&nbsp;these themes.
