The four elected faculty positions are filled by tenured members from the four divisions of the College. The President, Provost, and Dean of the Faculty are ex officio, non-voting members. <\/p>\n    \t    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<p>The Faculty Advisory Council\u2019s purpose is to shape and sustain a culture of shared governance. Duties of the committee include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To facilitate ongoing and timely communication between the faculty and administration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To raise to the President, Provost, and Dean of the Faculty matters of concern to the faculty<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying emerging priorities and reporting them to the President<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To advise the elected faculty committees in the formation of their agendas, and to study and advance proposals addressing matters of significance to the College\u2019s mission, governance, and long-term
