If abbreviated, use an apostrophe to indicate the missing information: \u201960s and \u201970s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the twenty-first century, make the decade clear: the 2000s is ambiguous. For 2000\u20132009, refer to the first decade of the twenty-first century.
