To make them plural, or to refer to individual professors, use \u201cfaculty members\u201d: Faculty members expressed concern over the proposal. The same is true of staff: \u201cthe staff is,\u201d but \u201cstaff members are.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n See also awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Capitalize when the formal name of the award is used; otherwise lowercase: “Diana Shandy, professor of anthropology, was named an Executive Leadership Fellow for 2015.
