These are a great opportunity to meet employers and explore internship and career opportunities.<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Government and Nonprofit Career Fair<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Held annually at the University of Minnesota in October, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/career-exploration\/government-nonprofit-career-fair\/\">the Government and Nonprofit Career Fair<\/a> allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies. There are 30 participating Minnesota 4-year colleges and universities and participating regional colleges that attend.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">MN Private Colleges\u2019 Job and Internship Fair\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Held annually at the Minneapolis Convention Center in February, the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/career-exploration\/mpcc-job-and-internship-fair\/\">MN Private Colleges\u2019 Job and Internship Fair<\/a> \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hosts hundreds of organizations and is open to students from all of Minnesota\u2019s private colleges. It\u2019s a perfect opportunity to connect with a wide variety of Twin Cities\u2019-area organizations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Events<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We offer dozens of exploratory and skill-building events throughout the school year. All of our events are posted on <\/span><a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/stu\/events?collection=ALL&amp;eventFormat=HYBRID&amp;sort=RELEVANCE&amp;date=ALL&amp;postedBySchool=true\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Handshake Events<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and on the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/events.macalester.edu\/all\/categories\/Career%20Events\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">college events calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
