Macalester alumni are offered comprehensive services, including appointments with career counselors, resume reviews, job search assistance, and unlimited access to , our career services platform.

Volunteer to Help

Your help is invaluable to students. You can participate by:

  • Volunteering to be a career helper on , the online alumni directory. We encourage students to seek out alums who have designated themselves as career helpers.
  • Posting your organization鈥檚 open jobs and internships on Handshake. If you wish, you can choose to make the postings visible to Mac students only. Read more about posting on . Many employers already have an account, if you have any questions about utilizing Handshake, please email [email protected].
  • #HireMac: We can post positions on Handshake with a #HireMac label. This label allows students to know there is an alumni connection. With your permission, we list your name and email address in the job description so students can reach out to ask questions about the application, company culture, etc. If you want to share an opportunity to be posted as a #HireMac position, please fill out our .
