Event Details
Portals is a sequence of nine solo performances developed in response to the question: 鈥渉ow do we develop resilience for getting through the pandemic and remaking our world?鈥 The original works have been developed from newspaper articles, oral histories, poem cycles and the performers鈥 own lives.
Portals will premiere on Friday March 5 at 7pm CST and be viewable through March 7. Closed captioning available. For reservations please fill out our . (Google doc), or read more about the people involved on the Portals page.
Special premiere-only events on March 5 include:
*Pre-premiere 鈥渃oncert鈥 of original Portals theme music by Dameun Strange 鈥95.
*Post-premiere discussion with the cast and creative team, led by THDA professor Harry Waters Jr. All are welcome! Listen, discuss process, pose questions!
