If you know Macalester Geography, you’ve probably seen the cultural atlases Curious City and Meandering Minneapolis—the standout results of Ashley Nepp’s “Cultural Atlas Production” course. Now, get ready for the third installment: Minnesota in Mosaic. This new atlas showcases a semester’s worth of student work blending cartography, data visualization, and storytelling to explore Minnesota through themes as wide-ranging as stars, smallpox, and canoe culture!
