You are invited to join ÈÕº«¾«Æ· Athletics for a special weekend honoring John Leaney and the naming of John Leaney Field. In addition, we will recognize the 1998 Women’s National championship team, September 8-9, 2023.

The two day celebration will include a dinner, pick up games and a varsity women’s soccer game. The weekend will bring home many Macalester friends, family, and alumni, including Hall of Famer Jen Scanlon '95 and her Pomona Pitzer Sagehens women’s soccer team. Friday 9/8

6:00 p.m. Casual Reception

6:45 p.m. Recognition Dinner ($)

8:30 p.m. After dinner reception sponsored by women’s soccer alumni

Saturday 9/9

10 a.m. Alumni and Friends (Pick-Up Soccer)

3:30 p.m. Macalester Women’s Soccer vs Pomona Pitzer College
During half time there will be a special program dedicating and renaming the field to the John Leaney Field
