Please join us in Carnegie 06A on Tuesday, February 7, from 11:45a - 1:00p to hear Ahmed Hassan present “Psychotherapy, Islam and Somali refugees in Minnesota.”

Hassan is one of only 4 licensed Somali-speaking psychotherapists in Minnesota. In this talk, he will discuss the history of Somali refugees in Minnesota, some of the difficulties they face; colloquial idioms for understanding psychological well-being; and his own experiences practicing transcultural psychotherapy.
