In contrast to trauma-related memories, her research is specifically interested in understanding the mechanisms underlying more mundane, every-day experiences. The Tong Research Group at ÈÕº«¾«Æ· is an undergraduate-driven lab that leverages the well-defined neural circuits of the mouse olfactory system and robust behavioral protocols for testing olfactory memory to investigate the novel contributions of extracellular mechanisms to memory.
