<!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Beth Bogle,<\/strong>\u00a0&#8217;89,\u00a0founded <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fishandbee.com\/\">Fish &amp; Bee<\/a>, a creative company offering imaginative, modern clothing and home designs for children, women and families, as well as a\u00a0 hands-on studio program for collaborative art and design experiences.\u00a0 She received a Master&#8217;s Degree in Design + Apparel at the University of Minnesota in 2007. She designs unique children&#8217;s clothing through Fish &amp; Bee Studio, formerly eecee bb in Linden Hills, Minneapolis.\u00a0Her work incorporating children as their own custom clothing designers was\u00a0featured on Twin Cities Live television program in 2010.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Emel Sherzad,<\/strong> &#8217;89, is the longtime host of <a href=\"https:\/\/kfai.org\/program\/internationaljazzconspiracy\/?fbclid=IwY2xjawObBDpleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETExTmN4dUVmZEszUnhtaDN2c3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHjMYxaFqD6YcgVt_ptxLrmdTHGrCuRwml9cxy-SOfBZ0KPMV--UmlMtL3sQ1_aem_evcFGdSJCGeoaiCafawNdA\">International Jazz Conspiracy<\/a> on KFAI radio. He exhibited paintings at St. Paul&#8217;s Unity Unitarian Church in\u00a0 2021. His paintings were always\u00a0 on view at <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/khyberpasscafe.com\/\">The Khyber Pass Restaurant<\/a> in St. Paul, which he owned with his wife, Masooda, which closed in 2022, . She received her MFA in painting from the University of Iowa, Iowa City in 1998 and taught drawing at Pasadena Community College.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt Pawlowski,<\/strong> &#8217;88,\u00a0 is the Operations Coordinator for Interact Gallery and Performing Arts Center, St. Paul, MN, whose mission is to &#8220;create art that challenges society&#8217;s perception of disabilities.&#8221;\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/textilecentermn.org\/neitherness-pawlowski\/\">Neitherness<\/a> is his solo show at the The Textile Center, Mpls. Nov. 1 -Jan. 3 2026. He had work in the 2024 Biennial exhibit, I\u2019ll Be Your Mirror: Reflections of the Contemporary Queer, Detroit, Michigan. He\u00a0 exhibited in the 2025 group show, Stitched: Contemporary Embroidery, Bedford, Gallery, Walnut Creek CA.\u00a0 He is the Owner\/Artist at Significant Productions in San Francisco. He exhibited work in a 2020 group show, Stitch, at Andrea Schwartz Gallery, San Francisco. He owned and operated ESP Gallery in San Francisco from 1997-2000. She exhibited in a <a href=\"https:\/\/gallery.stkate.edu\/exhibition\/reflections-and-conversations-monica-rudquist-and-jerry-rudquist\">joint show<\/a> with her late father, Mac Art professor Jerry Rudquist, at Catherine G. Murphy Gallery, St. Catherine University,\u00a0 March, 2025. She received a Master of Fine Arts, in\u00a0 Ceramics in 1985 from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She had a solo exhibit at the Phipps Center for the Arts, Hudson, WI, 2019. She received a 2013 Minnesota State Arts Board Grant and a 1995 Jerome Project Grant. She had work in the &#8220;30\/30&#8221; exhibit at Lillstreet Gallery in Chicago in 2006. He created b<em>lue train,<\/em>\u00a0a work of public art, commissioned by St. Louis Metro for the\u00a0<a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nextstopstl.org\/4093\/artwork-blue-train-completes-streetscape-at-the-new-vandeventer-bridge\/+\">Blue Line at Vandeventer Bridge<\/a>. An illuminated railing acts as gateway between two neighborhoods, commemorating homeless people who have died on the streets. The piece features a brush aluminum silhouette of a train traveling south, with the notes of \u201cSt. Louis Blues\u201d along the train \u201ccars\u201d in blue-tinted acrylic.\u00a0&#8220;Carbon footprints 2008,&#8221; is an environmental artwork and wayfinding system at Seattle&#8217;s Woodland Park Zoo. &#8220;Departure 2004&#8221; and &#8220;Suspension for Branch Avenue Station was created for the Washington D.C. She partnered MPR and the City of Minneapolis to work together to raise the profile of public art in the city. &#8220;Sound Point&#8221; is a new interactive audio tour that allows visitors to use their mobile devices to access stories about works of public art in Minneapolis. See her thoughts on <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tcgmn.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/what-do-artists-and-developers-have-in-common\/\">Art and Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>David Bogen,<\/strong>\u00a0&#8217;82, received his BA in philosophy from Macalester and his MA and PhD in sociology from Boston University. He is currently the Vice President Academic + Provost at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. From 1997-2007 he served as the Executive Director of the Institute for Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies at Emerson College in Boston.\u00a0 From 2007-2011 Bogen was the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is the author of <em>Order Without Rules: Critical Theory and the Logic of Conversation<\/em> (SUNY Press: 1999) and, with Michael Lynch, <em>The Spectacle of History: Speech, Text, and Memory at the Iran-Contra Hearings<\/em> (Duke University Press, 1996).
