Letters of Recommendation

Whether you鈥檙e applying for an internship, a job, graduate school, or national scholarships, you鈥檒l need people who know you well and can write on your behalf. Cultivating relationships with faculty and staff, as well as supervisors on campus and in the community, is an important first step. It is equally important to plan ahead, provide your recommenders with appropriate materials, and stay on top of the process. For more detailed guidance, talk with your academic advisor or review the following guidelines developed by Macalester faculty.
